Anti Jewish UNESCO resolution
Pastor Nigel Woodley and the Flaxmere Christian Fellowship in Hastings (and its supporters) condemn the decision made today by the Executive Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) to adopt a resolution sponsored by the Palestinians which denies the ancient and historical connection of the Jewish People to the Holy sites in Jerusalem—particularly the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. This resolution is a blatant dis-regard to the fact that the Jewish Holy sites were in existence long before the birth of Islam, and it overlooks the rights of the People of Israel to preserve and guard their own holy sites. In its resolution by referring to the holy sites only by their Muslim names UNESCO have totally disregarded the Jewish connection which has long outlived any other religion.
