Family Feud NZ Board Game Now Available!
Kiwi families can finally play one of New Zealand’s favourite local game shows at home! MediaWorks and FremantleMedia Australia are excited to announce the launch of a localised version of the much-loved Family Feud board game – now available to purchase exclusively at The Warehouse. A play-along buzzer app will accompany the board game.
Family Feud NZ host, Dai Henwood said: "I grew up playing board games and it is awesomely surreal that I have my face on one now. Not only am I beamed into people's living rooms, I can now be on their dining room table as they Feud it out!"
The Australian version was the bestselling board game in Australia in 2015. Manufactured by Imagination in both Australia and New Zealand, the first Australian edition was a sell-out for Christmas 2014.
“Family Feud has connected with viewers globally and the board game has proved a phenomenal success worldwide,” said Zara Curtis, General Manager of Brand Partnerships, FremantleMedia Australia. “Utilising the star power of Dai Henwood, it is sure to be a hit in New Zealand homes, and is the first of many natural brand extensions we will bring to Kiwi families to access Family Feud NZ.”
“Kiwis have embraced Family Feud on our telly screens, so it's awesome to be able to bring the Family Feud NZ board game to life too,” said producer Charlotte Hobson.
Earlier this week, Family Feud NZ had its biggest winners yet, with the Norman family taking away a massive $20,000 and a car after their fifth consecutive night on Tuesday.
Family Feud NZ is one of New Zealand's most popular local game shows. The Celebrity and All Star episodes were the top rating prime time local game show content in New Zealand this year. A total of 2.6 million Kiwis have tuned in to watch Family Feud to date (5+ cume).
Family Feud screens weeknights at 5.25pm on TV3.
