Lyttelton sled dog sculpture to be unveiled
The Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Antarctic Society and Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel will unveil a bronze sled dog sculpture on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Lyttelton’s Antarctic connections.
The sculpture, by local artist Mark Whyte, will sit outside Lyttelton Library on the corner of London and Canterbury Streets.
