Bad Visual Systems: Ruth Buchanan, Judith Hopf, Marianne Wex
Exhibition Opening: Saturday 1 October, 5.30pm
2 October – 22 December 2016
Ruth Buchanan’s first major show in Wellington will be a full-gallery installation featuring audio, visual, textual and sculptural elements integrated with important works by German artists Judith Hopf and Marianne Wex. Here Buchanan is uniquely combining the roles of artist, curator, and designer in a show especially conceived for the architectural spaces of the Adam Art Gallery.
Adam Art Gallery acknowledges the support of Creative New Zealand Toi Aotearoa, Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen Institute for Foreign Cultural Affairs (ifa), and Victoria University of Wellington.
