Media Release
Wednesday 31 August, 2016
The Mainland Tactix wish Mwai Kumwenda every success as she embarks on a new Netball adventure in 2017.
Kumwenda has advised the Tactix that she will not be returning to the Club for the 2017 ANZ Netball Elite League.
“While we are disappointed to lose someone of the skills and personality of Mwai – we wish her every success for the future,” Netball Mainland CEO Brigit Hearn said.
“Mwai has become an integral part of our Tactix family and Mainland community and we have enjoyed getting to know and understand more about her Malawian culture.
“This now presents an exciting opportunity for a talented player to work and learn under the tutelage of renowned shooting specialist, Sue Hawkins.”
