Dig deep New Zealand, it’s Daffodil Day
Hundreds of ANZ staff throughout the country will be rattling buckets today as they collect money for Daffodil Day, the Cancer Society’s main fundraising appeal.
This year marks ANZ’s twenty-sixth year as principal sponsor of Daffodil Day and it’s something ANZ is very proud to be a part of, said Felicity Evans, General Manager Human Resources.
“We support the Cancer Society because it’s the only organisation that funds research into all types of cancers. It also provides support to anyone affected by cancer including families and friends, no matter what age you are or the type of cancer you have.
“ANZ branches and staff are holding fundraising activities throughout the country today to help raise funds and awareness of the appeal, so keep an eye out for the local sausage sizzles, bake stalls and raffles. The funds get used in the communities where they’re raised too,” she said.
