Interactive Travel Guides to
New Zealand Launched
Auckland, New Zealand, July 19th, 2016 10 Years a Kiwi, the first in a series of visually stunning interactive travel guides to New Zealand, has just been launched on Apple’s iBooks Store.
Designed to help tourists, and to encourage Kiwis to get out and explore the glory of their own back yard, 10 Years A Kiwi Photo Guides to Enjoying New Zealand first edition explores the Auckland Region in depth.
The aim is to inspire the prospective traveller to visit the areas depicted through extensive use of photography and interactive features.
The old cliché of a picture being worth a thousand words was never truer than in the ebook format. Good photos viewed on a retina screen, iPad, tablet or phablet really pop and showcase a destination in a way which words cannot.
Lavishly illustrated with beautiful photo galleries, packed with maps, brochures, PDFs and links to websites, this guide to the Auckland Region is written from the perspective of a New Zealand family’s experience exploring and enjoying the country they now call home. This guide shows you how you can, too, whether you are a Kiwi, new immigrant or a visitor.
Each area of the Auckland region is described to include what there is to do, why you should go, where to go, and how to get there. Explore Auckland’s magnificent regional parks, its beaches and walking tracks, the Hauraki Gulf Islands, the volcanoes, the city itself and its suburbs, its rural attractions of wineries, country towns, scenic splendour and perfect places to picnic.
10 Years A Kiwi is viewable on an iPhone, iPad, iPod or any Macintosh device and is meant to be used on the move, or to plan your day before setting out.
