The Block NZ Wins on Sunday & Big Bash Boxing Draws a Crowd
The Block NZ: Girls vs Boys once again secured a strong result on Sunday night, winning its timeslot and outperforming My Kitchen Rules among its target demographic of viewers aged 25-54, and 18-49.
Digitally the show continues its performance, with an increase in Video On-Demand viewing and live-streaming of The Block NZ content compared to last season.
TV3’s Friday night special Big Bash Boxing was a performer in the ring and on the box, with Papatoetoe’s Mose Auimatagi Jr claiming the NZPBA middleweight title with majority points and the programme winning its timeslot in all key audience demographics – 25-54, 18-39, 18-49 and Household Shoppers with Kids.
But that wasn’t the only on-air action last week, with RadioLIVE Drive host Duncan Garner issuing a challenge to Jono and Ben from The Rock’s Drive Home to step-up to the mic and try talk radio. The boys accepted, but only if Duncan covers their Rock Drive Home show.
The radio mashup will have the Drive hosts Jono and Ben on RadioLIVE, while Duncan Garner is on The Rock, from 3pm to 4pm, Thursday 7 July, 2016.
