Calling All Food Lovers to the Christchurch Food Show
The Christchurch Food Show is set to excite Cantabrian’s tastebuds from 8 – 10 April 2016, at Horncastle Arena. From award winning cheeses and Kumara muesli, to Spain’s number 1 selling garlic bread and sustainably-grown mussels, over 100 exhibitors will be on show offering something for everyone.
The Whirlpool Cooking Theatre is the star of the show. Here you can make the most of cooking demos from some of New Zealand's top culinary talent. Watch Kiwi celebrity chefs step up to the plate and share some of their most coveted recipes for you to cook at home. Josh Emett headlines the show with Ray McVinnie, Robert Oliver, Sachie Nomura, Annabelle White and more also playing leading roles in the Cooking Theatre.
Michelin-starred chef and ex-Masterchef judge, Josh Emett, will be demonstrating his best selling dishes from Queenstown hot-spot, Madam Woo, including: Pork Hawker Rolls and Sui Mai.
Also on offer is the opportunity to discover your unique Nespresso moment at the Nespresso Discovery Sessions. Demonstrating the pairing of coffee with key moments of your day, the discovery sessions are a chance for coffee lovers to take part in interactive sessions with the unique range of Nespresso Grands Crus.
If that’s not enough, The Christchurch Food Show is welcoming two brand new areas - the Artisan Village and the Street Food Alley.
The expertly crafted Artisan Village is an area dedicated to all things handmade, traditional or made in small-batches – so you get to appreciate the workmanship that’s gone into producing them. If artisan products take your fancy the a visit to the Lovat Venison, Chorizo Garcia, Be Nourished and The Sausage Shed stands is a must do.
Got a bit of a rumble in your tummy? Head to the new Street Food Alley where you’ll be in a food-lovers paradise - satisfy your hunger, rest your tired feet and fill up on some delicious, street food grub from Christchurch locals like Dragon’s Den, Phnom Penh and Rollicking Gelato.
Tickets are on sale now, book early online at www.foodshow.co.nz and get the best rates. Access to all show features and cooking demos is included in your ticket.
