Dunedin band The Rothmans have enjoyed strong student radio support for their smashin' in-your-face single The Grendulen.

Those in the know are still raving about Rangiora’s finest, Transistors, and their latest EP Cuppa Jarra Brossa, with its excellent singles and videos from the release.

And gracing the stage of the mighty Powerstation, Auckland trio Loud Ghost will rock and sneer as only they can, with dynamic leader Darryn Harkness leading the charge. Loud Ghost last week released new single / video Check Your Mice:

Loud Ghost's self-titled debut LP has universally received great reviews, and of late they’ve landed shows with the likes of Husker Du’s Grant Hart and Sebadoh.

These acts are the icing on a very tasty Buzzcocks cake - with legends Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle leading the charge through punk classics like What Do I Get, Orgasm Addict, Ever Fallen In Love and Harmony In My Head, to name just a few.
