Jamie Bowen: It Goes on…
2014 and 2015 saw Jamie Bowen deliver two-hour long shows Heart Goes Boom and Head Goes Bang, that were the perfect mixture of funny, heart felt and thought provoking. Both shows were nominated for the prestigious Fred Award, and both won Best Live Show at the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards in their respective years. It Goes On… is the conclusion to this journey.
Since his first foray into the world of comedy with sketch group GARY over 15 years ago, Jamie has developed his own style and brand of comedy that is unique amongst the comedy landscape. Purposefully written to a concept, theme or idea, his festival shows have become essential viewing for his devoted audience.
It Goes On… features the stories, insights and explorations of the next stage of Jamie’s life; the future. The questions and discoveries of someone who’s fascination with whatever he’s looking into are at the same time engaging, enthralling and most of all, hilarious.
He’s been seen on the telly, 7 Days, Comedy Gala, After Hours, Crack Up and many more. He’s written plenty too, a regular writer for 7 Days he also co-wrote Sunny Skies for TV3 and was one of the creators and writers for A Night At The Classic on TVNZ. Thought provoking, genuine and wonderfully funny, this is comedy from the heart and soul. With dick jokes.
