Build Your Own Character And Help Create a Digital Landscape!
French artists, Guillaumit and Yann Van der Cruyssen, have created an evolving digital landscape called Blockwith. To help build this digital world made of colourful blocks, players are invited to create avatar builders who move and change the landscape of this digital playground.
To make an avatar, use your mobile device, go to the website blockwith.nz, name your builder and send it to the Digital Art Live screen. Then watch as each individual avatar interacts and collaborates with other characters to design their digital world.
Blockwith is also part of Auckland Arts Festival’s White Night experience and on that night there will be iPads available for attendees to create their own avatar and interact with the exhibition in the Aotea Centre.
