Killswitch Engage to Release New Album Incarnate on March 11
Massachusetts metal pioneers Killswitch Engage are pleased to announce the release date and release the album art for their seventh album INCARNATE, out March 11th on Roadrunner Records.
There is a swell of activity surrounding the band as the release of Incarnate draws near. Rolling Stone selected INCARNATE as one of the 25 most anticipated metal albums of 2016. Additionally, the band is currently gracing the cover of Revolver in a Star Wars-themed issue that reveals key details about the album. The band also just premiered the brand new video for their track ‘Hate By Design’.
Killswitch Engage burst onto the scene in the early 2000s with the genre-defining ALIVE OR JUST BREATHING, then notching up a Grammy Award nomination in 2005 for the title track from 2004's gold-certified THE END OF HEARTACHE. The album helped the band break genre boundaries and put them on the map as one of the most important bands of the '00s metal revival.
Throughout that time Killswitch Engage have adopted a versatile, non-stop touring schedule. The band's road history includes two treks on Ozzfest, stints on Warped Tour and Taste of Chaos, as they have that rare ability to straddle the line between the metal and alternative scenes by touring with Slayer and Mastodon as easily as My Chemical Romance and Underoath.
15 years on from their beginnings, Killswitch Engage have never coasted on the wave of prior successes, the band have remained one of the most successful and consistent bands to emerge out of the American metal scene.
