The first of them takes place on February 7 and will run through to March 20 at the band rotunda.

There are plenty of quality acts committed to the concert series including the BOP Blues Club, Rotorua Symphonic Band, Sunrise Rockers, Highland Pipe Band, Evelyn Falconer, The Thermaleles, Simply Random and the Edward Brothers.

The free event, which is supported by the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust, is a great opportunity to make the most of Rotorua’s local talent, glorious weather and iconic surroundings, said community arts advisor Marc Spijkerbosch.

“It has become a firm favourite among locals and visitors alike, with many opting to bring picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy the diverse range of music on offer,” he said.
