Countdown to Auckland’s biggest Christmas party!
The excitement is building as Auckland gets ready to kick off the festive season with a night of spectacular
entertainment from some of the country’s biggest stars and hottest new talent.
Headline act Avalanche City will star with Vince Harder, Lavina Williams, Esther Stephens, Nyree Huyser, Ben Lummis,
Marley Sola, Shaun Petterson and Anthony Utama at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on Saturday 12 December at the
Auckland Domain starting at 7.30pm.
The talented line-up also includes backing vocalists Anna Grahame, Paul Fagamalo and Nate Dousand, acclaimed theatre
performer Caleb-Jago Ward, soul singer/songwriter Michael Murray, singing fashionista Carolyn Taylor and talented
newcomer Teea Hewitt.
Backing the stars is a seven piece world class touring band, and they’ll be joined throughout the night by a record
number of local dancers.
Auckland’s biggest free community gathering will be hosted by versatile frontman Matt Gibb.
Chris Litchfield from Coca-Cola NZ said, “We’re just as excited about this year’s show as we were when we held the first
show nearly 22 years ago. Once again we have a brilliant line-up of talent who’ll deliver a truly spectacular show for
Auckland. Best of all, many of the performers are locals and Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park gives them the chance to
perform in front of a huge home grown audience.”
Coca-Cola NZ have partnered with TV2 to broadcast a 90 minute special on Sunday 13 December which will feature
highlights from the Auckland and Christchurch events.
Once again, Coca-Cola NZ is supporting Youthline and encourages concert-goers to be generous on the night and bring a
gold coin donation.
