Christchurch welcomes stars of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park.
Organisers of New Zealand’s favourite Christmas party are promising a show that’s bigger and better than ever before.
Headline acts Stan Walker (pic above) and Anika Moa will star with Vince Harder, Lavina Williams, Esther Stephens, Nyree Huyser, Ben Lummis, Marley Sola and Shaun Petterson at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on Saturday 28 November at Hagley Park starting at 7.30pm.
The talented line-up also includes backing vocalists Anna Grahame, Paul Fagamalo and Nate Dousand, local emerging singer/songwriter Ashy Batchelor, acclaimed actor/entertainer Rutene Spooner and singer Stevie Tonks. Backing the stars is a seven piece world class touring band, and they’ll be joined throughout the night by a record number of local dancers.
Christchurch’s biggest free community gathering will be hosted by popular broadcaster and dancing star Simon Barnett.
Chris Litchfield from Coca-Cola NZ said, “We’re just as excited about this year’s show as we were when we held the first show nearly 22 years ago. Once again we have a brilliant line-up of talent who’ll deliver a truly spectacular show for Christchurch. Best of all, many of the performers are locals and Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park gives them the chance to perform in front of a huge home grown audience.”
Coca-Cola NZ have partnered with TV2 to broadcast a 90 minute special on Sunday 13 December which will feature highlights from the Christchurch and Auckland events.
Once again, Coca-Cola NZ is supporting Youthline and encourages concert-goers to be generous on the night and bring a gold coin donation.
