Missing Chipmunk in Queenstown? Or Dunedin?
Movie star chipmunks Simon and Theodore have a problem. Their mischievous friend Alvin has gone missing. They need him to be in Auckland for the New Zealand Premiere of their latest blockbuster movie Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip on December 6. They are appealing to the children of New Zealand to help find Alvin.
Those lucky children who find Alvin and get their photo taken with him are encouraged to share it online using the hashtag #IFoundAlvin to help us keep track of Alvin’s road trip/chip.
Rumour has it that Alvin will be in an Apollo Motor Home in Queenstown this Sunday November 22. His friends at 20th Century Fox would like to let the children know that he’ll be out and about at lake’s edge. He’ll also pay a visit to Reading Cinema at 3pm where children can meet Alvin and win spot prizes. At approximately 5pm Alvin will ride the Skyline Gondola.
On Monday November 23, Alvin will visit Remarkables School and at 11am will ride the KJET with Queenstown Child Care children. Alvin will then travel to Dunedin for a party with The Hits at Reading Cinemas at 4:30pm.
On Tuesday November 24, Alvin will be breakfasting with Callum and P of The Hits and 10 competition winners at Cadbury World before hitting the road for Christchurch, where he will visit Reading Cinemas The Palms after school.
