SCIRT offers free laughs at Buskers
SCIRT has launched a competition to give away free tickets to Christchurch residents to next January's SCIRT World Buskers Festival.
SCIRT Executive General Manager, Ian Campbell says it's a way the organisation can directly thank the people of Christchurch for their support over the past four years.
"People all around the city have been very patient with the disruption to their lives that our work has caused, and it's one way we can say thank you for being so patient with us."
The competition asks potential winners to tell SCIRT why they need a laugh at SCIRT World Buskers
Festival. The entry form is located at www.scirt.co.nz<http://www.scirt.co.nz>. The competition is open now and closes on 7 December.
There are 100 free family passes for five up for grabs to an invitation only event hosted by SCIRT on 24 January. The winners will get to see the best performers and internationally award-winning artists from the festival all in one afternoon for some family friendly fun.
SCIRT's five contractor participants, City Care, Downer, Fletcher, Fulton Hogan and McConnell Dowell have sponsored the SCIRT World Buskers Festival for the past four years, with funds provided from outside the SCIRT programme.
