Promoters of AC/DC’s New Zealand concert tour today announce that new areas for both Western Springs in Auckland and Westpac Stadium in Wellington will be opened up.

The tickets to the rear embankment at Western Springs and Arena Two Zone at Westpac Stadium are both $99.90 and go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Tuesday).

The new areas will offer great views of the stage and excellent sound and have been opened up due to confirmed production arrangements by the band.

Both are GA standing arenas, the Westpac Stadium one being at the southern end of the field while the rear embankment at Western Springs has recently been terraced and is now more useable for concert purposes.

Numbers will be strictly limited so fans are urged to act without delay.

AC/DC have been scorching their way through Europe for the past five months with their ROCK OR BUST TOUR, having slayed fans with two incredible shows at Coachella Music Festival in the US in April and at the 57th Grammy Awards in February.

In Germany, the band set a world record in the number of sold tickets within the shortest timespan, with more than 300,000 tickets sold out in 77 minutes.

Austria was treated to the biggest concert ever staged in the country with over 115,000 rocking out with the biggest band on the planet.

And in Australia, demand for tickets has been so massive that it’s forced second shows inSydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
