A Once in a Lifetime Opportunity for Land Rover Owners
Watch Your Youngster Run onto Wembley Stadium at Rugby World Cup 2015
Wednesday July 29
Land Rover New Zealand is going to make one kiwi kids dream come true, giving one lucky parent or guardian the chance to watch their son, daughter, relative or family friend run out onto Wembley Stadium, as a New Zealand team mascot at RWC 2015.
Showing its on-going support for rugby locally and globally, Land Rover, as a worldwide partner of Rugby World Cup 2015, is offering this once in a lifetime opportunity to all New Zealand Land Rover owners.
The RWC 2015 Mascot Competition has kicked off and anyone who owns a Land Rover is eligible to enter. All they need to do is upload an image of their son, daughter, niece, nephew, grandchild or even family friend, aged between 7-13, holding a Rugby Ball with their Land Rover in shot and they go in the draw to win.
With the competition live on the Land Rover New Zealand Facebook page entries have been rolling in from around the country, with some great photos of proud kiwi kids and some classic Land Rover vehicles, both old and new.
Land Rover New Zealand Marketing Manager, James McKee is proud to be offering such an exciting opportunity in such a rugby mad nation like New Zealand.
“Making it to the Rugby World Cup would be high on the bucket list for most kiwi rugby fans and it’s certainly the dream of rugby mad kiwi kids all round New Zealand, but the list of children who can claim they’ve got their parents or relatives to the RWC remains an exclusive one. Now we are giving one lucky kiwi kid the chance to join that list. This is sure to be a moment that both child and adult will remember for a lifetime and it’s just another way that Land Rover is going above and beyond for its owners and for rugby here in New Zealand and globally,” said McKee.
The competition is open now, with entries closing Wednesday 12 August 2015 and all competition information is available atwww.landrovermascot.co.nz.
The competition will see the New Zealand winners join others from all around the globe, traveling to RWC 2015 to be part of this historical sporting event.
The winner will receive a return trip for one adult and one child, aged between 7-13, to London UK, with seats at Wembley Stadium for the New Zealand RWC 2015 Pool C match against Argentina, on Sunday September 20.
The winning child will also run out onto the hallowed Wembley Stadium field with the team, as official team mascot for the game.
