Entries are open for Zonta Youth Art Award 2015
After the postponement earlier this year we are pleased to inform you that entries are now open for the Zonta Youth Art Awards. For all those young budding creatives this is an opportunity for you to showcase your work to the public. Zonta provides a rare chance for the creative youth within our community to experience what it is like to enter an exhibition, to have the chance to win awards, gain recognition and be encouraged for their artistic achievements.
The Award is open to students who usually reside in Mid or South Canterbury aged between 16-19 years old. This will be the first year the annual Zonta Youth Art Awards now in its 17th year is on show at the new Ashburton Gallery at 327 West Street. Gallery staff look forward to a vibrant display with a large number of entries.
“It is very rare for the public art galleries to support youth art, however our collaboration with Zonta is a very positive one and we are very eager to host the awards in our new building” said Gallery Manager Shirin Khosraviani.
Contact the Ashburton Art Gallery for your entry form.
Deadline for entries is 4pm, Friday 20th August.
