TVNZ Delivers a Grand Slam to Tennis Fans

TVNZ brings New Zealanders live coverage of the world’s most prestigious Grand Slam, WIMBLEDON, exclusively to TV ONE and TVNZ OnDemand.
TV ONE will cross live to courtside Wimbledon from 12am to 6am daily, with TVNZ OnDemand simultaneously streaming all the action. Here viewers are offered an unprecedented amount of online action with a special preview, daily highlights programmes, as well as replays of the ‘Game of the Day’, so they can re-live all the top moments as it suits them.
TVNZ Head of Content, Jeff Latch says “A fantastic opportunity was offered to us to bring Wimbledon back to TVNZ. We’re proud to give Kiwi tennis fans the chance to watch one of the most famous tennis tournaments in the world, free to air – as it happens.
“TV ONE and TVNZ OnDemand offer New Zealanders access to the best seats in the stadium, direct from the comfort of their living rooms,” he adds.
Catch all the grass court action as the world’s top tennis superstars battle it out to take the coveted title of Wimbledon Champion for 2015.
For televised Wimbledon coverage: Tuesday 30th June – Saturday 11th July, 12am – 6am on TV ONE,Sunday 12th – Monday 13th July, 1am – 6am on TV ONE. If the televised match runs past the scheduled time on TV ONE, viewers can pick up the action via TVNZ OnDemand until end of play - as the site will be simultaneously streaming the live coverage.
