Tahir Nawaz chosen as President for IMAN

Tahir Nawaz selected as President of the International Muslim Association of New Zealand(IMAN)
Association selected Tahir Nawaz, who currently serves as a Secretary of the Association.
“When i look at the scoopeof the new President role, I thought about what this opportunity meant to me personally and what it would mean for my organization.”
Mr Nawaz has been member of the association from over 14 years and this is the 5th year on serving the community. Last 2 years Mr Nawaz served as Secretary.
Nawaz, plans to provide the best services to his community, better government relations, up lift the image of Ummah(Muslim Community) and use his role to shape the future of the Muslim Community.
“Nawaz begun his duties as President on June 1, 2015 for the 2015/2016 term.

The International Muslim Association of New Zealand known as IMAN is Wellington based organisation looking after Muslims of greater Wellington region. Services include Islamic education, Islamic centre, Mosque Open Day, Marriage Celeberant, Muslim Funeral services. All services provided by the volunteers
