BP And Neighbourly Launch Great Neighbour Awards
Every community is filled with unsung heroes so Neighbourly and BP are working together to ensure they receive a little recognition.
The Great Neighbour Awards are an opportunity for Neighbourly members to nominate neighbours doing good things within their communities.
Each month, three nominated neighbours and their nominators will receive a $25 BP Gift Card to reward them for their ‘neighbourliness’.
Neighbourly co-founder Casey Eden says the Great Neighbour Awards are a special way to recognise neighbours who are helping build stronger, safer and friendlier neighbourhoods.
“It could be the neighbour who planned a great community get-together, one that mowed your berm or someone that’s just loaned you a ladder for an hour,” he says. “These individuals all help make our neighbourhoods nicer places to live. And it doesn’t have to be anything monumental - it’s often those small gestures and acts of kindness that mean the most.”
“We’re thrilled with the way BP’s partnership with Neighbourly has kicked off and love the way that it connects communities locally and at the same time is far reaching,” says BP Communications Manager, Jonty Mills. “The Great Neighbour Awards is another small recognition to reward those local unsung heroes, with the added incentive of rewarding the nominator as well.”
Neighbours are invited to nominate a great neighbour by heading to www.neighbourly.co.nz/great-neighbour-awards and sharing details about a worthy Great Neighbour Award contenders in their community.
