Radio Waatea to launch new bilingual music show: Live Sessions @ the Black Note
Radio Waatea are proud to announce the launch of a new 2-hour, bilingual, weekly music show: Live Sessions @ the Black Note starting Tuesday 12th May 2015 from 8pm.
Live Sessions @ the Black Note is presented by Māori songstress, Ngatapa Black (Tuhoe, Tuwharetoa, Te Whanau-a-Apanui) who says the aim is to not only showcase some of Aotearoa's finest Māori musicians but provide a platform to support new and upcoming Māori artists.
The performance lineup includes Antony Pirihi of Tribal Connexions, Amelia McNabb, Soul Sista Aotearoa, Kinaki, Manea, Majic Paora and more... with interviews in English and te reo Māori to take you on a journey into the minds of these talented musicians.
