Taupo have a two day course available for all skill types that teaches you the importance of water safety while white
water kayaking.
The two-day course is designed to turn beginners into confident and competent Grade 2 white water kayakers. “The course
provides a solid foundation of skills needed while the participants have fun and build their confidence” says Laura.
Participants in the two-day course are taught skills such as rescue techniques, river reading techniques, hazard
identification & management plus many more skills that will give them the knowledge to start kayaking with their friends.
