Newstalk ZB and New Zealand Golf join forces
New Zealand Golf is pleased to announce today an exciting new partnership with NZME Radio and its lead brand Newstalk ZB, set to benefit all those who love golf.
The Newstalk ZB team, part of the NZME Radio group, is delighted to be working with New Zealand Golf over coming years to expand golfs exposure throughout the country, help showcase major New Zealand Golf events and spark a love of golf for those unfamiliar with the game.
The partnership will span across the ISPS Handa NZ Women’s Open, the Charles Tour and New Zealand Golf, enabling both organisations to align more strategically moving forward. A major focus will be on the LOVE golf initiative aimed at growing the number of people who participate in golf.
General Manager of Newstalk ZB, Dallas Gurney says, “We are thrilled to announce this new and exclusive partnership with New Zealand Golf and Newstalk ZB. The partnership between New Zealand Golf and Newstalk ZB will allow both parties to increase their exposure in different markets while also focusing on delivering benefits to some key tournaments throughout New Zealand, including the iconic ISPS Handa NZ Women’s Open and the Charles Tour.
Commercial Manager of New Zealand Golf, Nick Rowland says he is pleased to bring NZME Radio along on the New Zealand Golf journey.
“NZME Radio and Newstalk ZB really understand the future direction for golf throughout the country. Their assistance over the next few years will enable New Zealand Golf to promote the ISPS Handa NZ Women’s Open, the Charles Tour and the LOVE Golf brand to new golfing enthusiasts, which will help secure the tournaments and brand for future years.
