Kerikeri Cooking Club joins the breast cancer challenge

Kerikeri Cooking Club joins the breast cancer challenge with their annual Mother’s Day Pink Brunch.

Kerikeri Cooking Club and flourflower Ltd is asking locals to support its MOTHER’S DAY PINK BRUNCH on MAY 10th, raising money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
The PINK BRUNCH will be held at flourflower Ltd, 2 Cochrane Drive, Kerikeri between 10am to 3pm.

The event is open to the public, Club Members will cook the $5 meals and coffee/tea will also be available for purchase.
Families with children can spread out in the garden area and the entire venue is wheelchair accessible.

The cooking club members share a passion for food and although they are not professional chefs they are taking on the huge task of cooking Eggs Benedict, Omelettes, Waffles and Corn fritters for the masses.

More than 200 local businesses have been approached to help sponsor or donate to the event and their response has been overwhelming which will make this event even larger than last year and could conceivably bring in numbers equaling 10% of Kerikeri’s population!

“Breast cancer touches all our lives and the club wants to help in their own way to raise funds for research into better treatments”.

Brunch and refreshments will be available between 10am and 3pm and everyone will be eligible for spot prizes and quick fire raffles.

The main raffles will be drawn at 2:30pm.
