Diaz Grimm & Junior Voyage – Light the Flame Music Video

Diaz Grimm & Junior Voyage are proud to announce their music video for the single 'Light the Flame' today. The single is also available as a FREE dowload from Soundcloud.

The video gives insight into the beginning of Diaz’s musical journey, with the song 'Light the Flame' as a reference to sparking a movement – and the video representing the initial spark for what Diaz has planned to come.

Taking over a year’s worth of work to create, the video is made to replicate Diaz's first ever performance, using people from his life portraying themselves instead of hiring actors. The static treatment of the video was the idea of director Jason Bock, who wanted to give veiwers the ability to take a look at moments in time without the distraction of movement.

Diaz Grimm's debut album 'Osiris' is also available for pre-order on iTunes from today. 'Osiris' was written over the course of a year with the last ten days spent in Auckland’s Red Bull Studios recording mixing and mastering the album.

Set to become big news on the local hip-hop scene, The last year has seen Diaz open for TNGHT, Rustie, Baauer, Tyga, Flosstradamus, Lunice and playing three major festivals around New Zealand.

Being raised with hiphop but falling in love with electronic music, Diaz is bringing a fresh new sound to the table in 2015. Heavily influenced by creatives such as Kanye, James Blake, Steve Jobs, James Cameron, Diaz plans on creating a movement worthy of the history books.

Light The Flame will can be watched here - Osiris is available for pre-order on iTunes now.
