Pulse Chair, Sue Gordon, paid tribute to Robyn Broughton as
the search begins for a replacement coach to build on her
good work.
Robyn Broughton has confirmed that the current 2015 ANZ Championship season will be her last as Head Coach of the Mojo Pulse after four successful years at the helm.
During her tenure, the team has been transformed from perennial strugglers to genuine contenders, finishing just outside the play-off positions each year. Robyn and the team are focused on qualifying for the final series as their initial goal for this season.
“We have been extremely fortunate to have the services of Robyn and be able to draw upon her wealth of knowledge and expertise,” Sue Gordon explained. “Robyn has made a significant difference to our team, for which we will always be grateful. It is crucial that we look long-term at the Head Coach position to be able to build on the good work that Robyn has already achieved.”
“This is a critical role in our organisation and we will be working hard to ensure that we are able to recruit someone with the right set of skills to take us into the future. We are determined to appoint the best possible candidate for the future success of the team” added NCZ and Mojo Pulse Chief Executive, Carolyn Young.
