Dunedin Fringe Festival Club Programme Announced
The Dunedin Fringe Festival has finalised its programme for the Festival Club in 2015. The Dog with Two Tails Café & Bar at 25 Moray Place is the official venue, and will be open every night during the Festival with special drink prices. Festival Late Nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturdayevenings will feature performances by local artists. The club is presented in association with Emerson’s Brewery and Radio One.
The Festival Club provides a place for Fringe artists, volunteers, audiences and supporters to pre-brief and de-brief their festival nights.
The Late Nights have been carefully handpicked by three curators: Hilako Iaheto, Winner of the 2011 Pacific Music Awards Best Pacific Language Album; Tahu Mackenzie, singer in local band Tahu & the Takahes & Education Officer at Orokonui Sanctuary and Aaron Hawkins, Dunedin City Councillor and well known music aficionado.

Fringipani - Curated by Hiliako Iaheto
Thursday 12 March: Danielle Culling supported by Hiliako Iaheto, Rapture Fa’alavelave, Kaharau Keogh Sam Cumming & Paul McLennan-Kissel
Thursday 19 March: Reitu Cassidy & Marcia Cassidy supported by Hiliako Iaheto, Ihaia Moeau, Reipae Cassidy Carl Te Ahuru
The Love Club - Curated by Tahu Mackenzie
Friday 13th March: Papua New Guinean band, Spinster, DJ Jamie Green
Friday 20th March: Oleh, MC Emerald, DJ Jamie Green
Community Spirit Animal - Curated by Aaron Hawkins
Saturday 14th March: Jah Red, AJ Sharma, Bob Cardy, Mr Aaron Hawkins
Saturday 21st March: Boof & Mr Aaron Hawkins, Embedded Figures, Lazer Cooling.
There is no charge to enter the Festival Club. The Dog with Two Tails will be open from 8am - late from Monday – Saturday and 10am – 3pm on Sunday. Up to date information on the club will be made available at www.dunedinfringe.nz. The Festival is on from 12th – 22nd March.
