Change of Venue for Aunga

MEDIA RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: THURSDAY 5TH MARCH 2015

Change of Venue for Aunga

The Dunedin Fringe Festival show Aunga has announced a change of venue.

The show was originally to be held in the Burlington Street Alleyway behind Les Mills but it will now take place in the basement of the Athenaeum Building. The Athenaeum basement is accessed via an alleyway opposite the First Church on Moray Place. Fringe Festival volunteers and staff will be posted by the First Church to help audience members find the venue for both performances.

Aunga is produced by Dunedin-based Stanley Manthyng Productions and tells the story of a modern day drag queen, Terzan, who mistakenly parks her time machine amongst a peaceful 10,000 BC community of cave people. The show promises to be both hilarious and outrageous in equal measure.

The dates and times remain unchanged: 8:00pm on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March. Tickets are available online at www.dunedinfringe.nz or in person through Fringe HQ at 11 George St.
