Coast Classics 2 tops NZ Music Charts
4 March 2015 – Music-lovers are rejoicing over the release of Coast Classics 2 with the CD reaching number one compilation on the Official New Zealand Music Charts – two weeks after being released.
Coast Classics 2 offers 38 tracks of the best music from the ‘60s to today and is guaranteed to be a must-have in your CD collection – whether you play it loud while driving, at your next dinner party or cleaning the house.
This is the third compilation Coast and Sony have collaborated on under the ” Love The Music” strapline, and proves Kiwis still love to buy and listen to CDs.
“We couldn't be happier with the success in the market of our latest collaboration project with Coast,” says Scott Morrison, Sony Music Entertainment's Director of Strategic Marketing and Physical Sales.
Content Director for Coast, Raylene Ramsay says, “We are delighted Coast Classics 2 has reached this milestone within its first two weeks of sale. We love working with Sony on these compilations which enhance our listener’s Coast experience.”
“This album will appeal to our younger listeners too, with another excellent mix of ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and also ‘90s to today.”
Coast Classics 2, bringing Kiwis even more music they love, is available for purchase at The Warehouse and JB Hi-Fi.
