A celebration of live comedy in all its glorious forms, Le Comique will be hosted by charming Brit, Carl Donnelly, who at last year’s Gala had the audience doubled with his near death experience from trying to eat a crumpet whole. Carl’s “a master story teller”(Timeout, UK) and “gripping, unmissible stand-up” (The Guardian, UK), who as host is sure to set the tone for an evening of hilarity and mischief.

This unique two-hour show, promises to be a cheeky night that you could even make into a great Mother’s Day treat.

Le Comique brings you side-splitting comedic talent including:
• Award-winning, country-music legend, Wilson Dixon (US) dulcet, sultry tones have weakened knees all the way to a nomination for the coveted Chortle Comedy Award and led him to support comedy greats such as Stewart Lee,Stephen K Amos and David O’Doherty.
• The outstandingly cheeky The Naked Magicians (AUS), will tease and taunt with a snippet from their boisterous R-rated magic show. Created and performed by two of Australia’s biggest names in magic, Christopher Wayne &Mike Tyler.
• Lip-smacking, musical comedy pair EastEnd Cabaret (UK). This internationally-acclaimed duo; deviant diva Bernie and half-moustachioed musician Victy, have seduced audiences all over the world with their bizarre and comical cabaret.
• The English Gentleman responsible for bringing you the 5-star acclaimedFeminism for Chaps, Andrew Watts. The fresh and mature stand-up who is gathering both critical and audience acclaim at major festivals.
