Sky Tower lights up to mark Auckland Pride Parade
Auckland’s skyline will soon glow the colours of the rainbow, with the Sky Tower lit up to celebrate Auckland Pride Parade on Saturday 21 February.
The Sky Tower is the southern hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure, and has become a recognisable part of Auckland’s cityscape.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower to show support for a number of organisations and special events.
SKYCITY often lights the Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations.
ENDS
Please note, the Sky Tower will return to red and gold lighting for Chinese New Year on Sunday 22 February.
