The ICC Cricket
World Cup 2015 New Zealand Fanzone at Victoria Square
continues this week with a spectacular classic movie and
live music line-up.
Christchurch City Council Events
Development Manager Richard Attwood says the Fanzone is the
place to be this week as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
festivities continues in Christchurch.
“This week we are screening movies like Top Gun, The Blues Brothers and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Along with the movies we have fantastic musical line-ups on Saturday 21 February and Monday 23 February, featuring the Dr Sanchez Trio, DJ Soul Provider, Nyree Burt and Justice Brass Band – and it’s all free of charge.
“We will also have live coverage of all the cricket world cup matches based in New Zealand on the big screen at the Fanzone in Victoria Square, including the New Zealand versus England game this Friday 20 February being played in Wellington,” says Mr Attwood.
