17 February at Claudelands Arena, Hamilton & 18 February at TSB Arena, Wellington
Legendary British-American musician / songwriter and former lead guitarist of Guns N Roses, SLASH arrives in New Zealand next week for his WORLD ON FIRE tour which will see him perform Hamilton’s Claudelands Arena on Tuesday February 17 and Wellington’s TSB Arena on Wednesday 18 February in a show that promises to set your world alight!
WORLD ON FIRE is a full throttle, in-your-face, a hunk of burning rock n roll that takes no prisoners.
Kiwi’s will mosh to iconic Guns N Roses and SLASH tracks along with songs from the new WORLD ON FIRE album featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators - singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), & the Conspirators, Frank Sidoris, Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns.
Hamilton band Devilskin (Jennie Skulander, Paul Martin, Nic Martin and Nail) will open for SLASH.
Named as ‘one of the greatest guitar players of all time’, SLASH has amassed album sales of over 100 million copies, has won seven Grammy nominations, a Grammy award and countless accolades.
In 1993 he formed Slash's Snakepit and, in 2002, co-founded the super-group Velvet Revolver.
He went on to release two solo albums, Slash (2010) and Apocalyptic Love (2012) - which produced SLASH two #1 US solo hits with You’re a Lie and Standing in the Sun.
The new album - WORLD ON FIRE - is out now through Sony Music and limited tickets to the WORLD ON FIRE shows are still available, but get in quick because they are selling fast!
