Psychedelic Spaceship land at Wilderland with new record
With their unique style of blues-oriented psychedelic rock, Psychedelic Spaceship bring their message to the people - with no sugar-coating. They've had enough bullshit from the governments and other powers that claim to be. They want to get real and take back our planet - to the tune of some sweet rock'n'roll.
Led by the one and only King Sun Moon Love, all the way from Neptune, the Psychedelic Spaceship has landed on Earth to lift us up to the next level. Featuring Captain Caveman on guitar, Deanolino on bass, Big B on drums, Geoffrey the Intergalactic Groove-Repair Man on keys, Boggy on baritone sax, and The Plumber In The Cupboard on harmonica and MC.
Are you ready for the revolution?
Then stand up and move your body with the
Psychedelic Spaceship, fixing to blow your
mind and overthrow your government. Music that's groovy to
dance to, mean to rock out to, and a show that's a full
sensory experience for your third eye. Come groove with the
King. He's been ready for thousands of years. But is your
planet ready for him?
Psychedelic Spaceship make their
next landing at Wilderland this Saturday
the 10th of January, for a full alcohol-free Magic
Carpet Ride with Murray Haddow and the Ludd
Gang, plus some special solo acts.
The Spaceship have two CDs available for your enlightening pleasure – the eponymous Psychedelic Spaceship album, plus an album by their alter-egos, The Magic Carpet Ride. The Magic Carpet Ride project is a full show experience (check out the photos!), headlined by Psychedelic Spaceship with contributions from other acts.
And what is Wilderland? Wilderland was born in 1964, when Dan and Edith Hansen established one of New Zealand’s first organic farms. It’s a much-loved centre for sustainable living located on 64 hectares of regenerating native bushland beside the Whitianga estuary on the Coromandel Pennisula. Wilderland is a thriving, communally managed education centre catering to hundreds of visitors every year. People head to Wilderland to learn about organic farming, land stewardship, social activities, decision-making and more - everyone at Wilderland is both a student and a teacher. The community cultivate a wide variety of certified organic fruit, vegetables, jams, preserves and herbal products, and manages one hundred beehives which contribute to their famous honey. And they like to throw great parties!
