The ASB Classic
has gone to the dogs
ASB is celebrating its love
of tennis by finding the best ball boys in the world for the
ASB Classic international tennis tournament. And who loves
tennis balls more than Venus Williams? The answer may
surprise you. Venus Williams takes on Svetlana Kuznetsova in
an exhibition match like no other, ably assisted by three of
the world’s biggest tennis (ball) fans: Oscar, Ted and
Super Teddy.

involvement with tennis in New Zealand as the major sponsor

8 year old Bull Mastiff
A
pound puppy, Oscar was due to be put down because nobody
wanted him but was rescued and now lives on a lifestyle
block and occasionally works in TV and film.
Ted
8 year old Border Collie
Ted
keeps fit running around his farm and forest and recently
retired from obedience trials having earned the title
Obedience Champion. Ted fills his days with swimming and the
odd TV
appearance.
