Sol3 Mio: Christmas in the Vines

Sol3 Mio: Christmas in the Vines

Sol3 Mio played to a crowd of 7,100 enthusiastic fans at Auckland’s Villa Maria on Sunday December 21st.

Despite a gloomy forecast earlier in the week, the sun shone upon an ecstatic crowd who lapped up a two and half hour long set that included opera arias, traditional songs and Christmas carol favourites. The capacity crowd was brought to its feet several times throughout a show that was delivered in Sol3 Mio’s inimitable fashion – filled with humour, energy and those magnificent voices.

Co-Promoter Campbell Smith said “What a glorious way to celebrate the Christmas season. Sol3 Mio delivered an incredible show and I’m sure the full house would have stayed until the early hours for more. It was truly something very special. I cant wait until we do it again next Christmas!”

Sol3 Mio also announced that they have added a show to their 2015 national tour at Auckland Zoo on Friday 20 February 2015. That show will go on sale at midday on Tuesday 23 December.
