Not too late for drivers to put safety first

Not too late for drivers to put safety first for holiday season

Safety-conscious drivers stressed about getting their vehicles in top shape for the holidays need not worry – they can have their servicing done at the office, airport, bus station or even the golf club before they finish work for the year.

Hometune, which recently became a fully-owned subsidiary of Corporate Cabs, makes it as easy as possible for customers by coming to them wherever they are, and are the longest serving mobile mechanics in the country.

“The team are highly qualified and experienced with every make and model of car including European models, they’ve got the latest equipment and they’re definitely competitive on price,” says chief executive Colin Samson.

“Mobile servicing definitely takes the pressure off those who feel they’ve left their pre-holiday servicing too late.”

Mr Samson points out that staff are all well qualified mechanics, technicians or auto electricians, and that Hometune has a continual training programme at its Mt Eden diagnosis and training centre so it can keep up the high quality service, as well as with the latest technology,” he says.

“Our mobile team are available seven days a week and our workshop is open Monday to Saturday so it’s easy for us to work on your vehicle at a time that suits you,” says Mr Samson.

Even though they’ve got top quality diagnostic tools in the mobile mechanic’s vans, there’s the added bonus of the fully equipped workshop and diagnosis centre in Mt Eden if people prefer to bring their vehicle in. If they live or work close by they can drop the vehicle in at the workshop and Hometune will give them a ride back to work or home, and let them know when the work is completed.

Every Hometune job is also covered by a five point guarantee, which means that only qualified technicians will work on the vehicle, and that only top quality products are used, the technicians will honestly advise on priorities, will never go ahead with work without the customer’s permission, and above all work is fully guaranteed.
