Get Active in Tahiti with Blood-Pumping Adventure Packages

Get Active in Tahiti with Blood-Pumping Adventure Packages

New Zealanders can surf, putt, fish, dive and sail their way around the Islands of Tahiti in 2015, with new adventure packages serving up an idyllic tropical escape with a side of adrenaline.

Air Tahiti Nui General Manager Australia New Zealand Alan Roman said the new packages were pitched at adventurous Kiwis who liked getting active on holiday.

“Kiwis who love to dive, surf, sail, fish and hit the green for a few holes will have a thrilling break in Tahiti with the islands offering the ultimate backdrop for these leisure activities,” he said.

“It’s hard to beat the crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life for diving and snorkelling, and outside the reefs, deep sea fishing for marlin and mahi mahi is exceptional.

“The Society and Tuamotu island groups were made for sailing, while keen golfers will find picturesque international golf courses on Tahiti and Moorea.

“Then there’s the surfing, for which Tahiti is world famous. Consistent swells churn up reliable waves off several of the islands and atolls making it a popular year-round surf destination.”

The packages start from just $2238* for a seven night adventure including five nights in a standard room at the Hotel Hibiscus on Moorea, two nights on Tahiti at Hotel Tahiti Nui, return economy flights with Air Tahiti Nui from Auckland, transfers throughout and surfing with five day car rental. A golf option with three rounds of golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course; an adventure package featuring a 4x4 safari, lagoon excursion and jet ski; and a diving program is also available for an additional cost.
