On The Nation this weekend
This weekend on The Nation... Who's got the best ideas to lead the Labour Party? And how should the party go about rebuilding and reconnecting with ordinary New Zealanders after its worst loss in decades?
We head to the bellwether seat of Hamilton West for our Labour leadership debate in front of a live theatre audience. Andrew Little, Nanaia Mahuta, David Parker and Grant Robertson will debate what went wrong, where to from here, how they might lead as Prime Minister, and what they stand for.
Then Porirua City Mayor Nick Leggett and Pacific Studies associate professor Damon Salesa will join Lisa Owen and Patrick Gower to dissect and analyse the candidates’ performance. And tune in on Sunday, for a special bonus segment, where audience members get to put their concerns direct to the candidates.
The Nation on TV3, 9.30am Saturdays and 10am Sundays.
Check us out online, on Facebook or on Twitter. Tell us what you think at thenation@mediaworks.co.nz or text 3330.
The Nation is proudly brought to you by New Zealand on Air’s Platinum Fund.
