Waipara Hills is thrilled to announce they will be hosting Clash of the Titans, a Sunday afternoon summer concert, featuring an all kiwi line up on the fourth of January 2015.
Waipara Hills is only one of two South Island venues that Clash of the Titans is touring, and with two of the bands hailing from the beautiful South Island, there will be a sense of celebration.
Christchurch locals, The Feelers, will be lined up against South Island originals, The Exponents and Dragon. A toss of a coin on the day will determine the playing order of these three fantastic Kiwi acts.
Combined, the three bands have a number of hits which are likely to get the crowds dancing in the stunning Waipara Hills vineyard setting.
Dragon, will play old classic hits from across their 40 year history; This Time, April Sun In Cuba, Rain, Are You Old Enough?. The Exponents, will be playing their iconic New Zealand songs, Victoria, Erotic, Sex & Agriculture, Why Does Love Do This To Me? And The Feelers, New Zealand’s highest selling and most played local artist for 16 years will perform all their radio hits; Pressure Man, As Good As It Gets, Venus, Didn't Want to Fall In Love and Stand Up.
Waipara Hills Cellar Door and Café Manager, Jenny Anderson, is thrilled to have a second summer concert planned for 2015. “We have a stunning venue that Canterbury locals and our other South Island concert goers just love coming to. Following a short scenic drive from Christchurch, visitors can relax, enjoy our delicious wine and food, and listen to iconic kiwi musicians.”
Waipara Hills are also hosting the 2015 Winery Tour on February 28th, featuring Dave Dobbyn, Don McGlashan, Supergroove and Anika Moa.
