Get set to dine as 12 of New Zealand’s finest restaurants present a dish incorporating Firstlight meat matched with wine
from Hawke’s Bay’s Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District®.
‘Snap the perfect pair’ promotion runs from 20th October until 14th November, at restaurants in Auckland, Wellington and
Hawke’s Bay, along with key Auckland retailers.
Dine at any of the participating restaurants, photograph the ‘perfect pair’ and upload to the Gimblett Gravels® Facebook
page to be in to win the perfect weekend for two in Hawke’s Bay.
Selected Auckland food stores are also joining in. Simply purchase any bottle of Gimblett Gravels® wine and Firstlight
meat, cook up a storm and share an image of your wine and food match on the Facebook page for a chance to win.
Lending her support to the initiative is renowned foodie Lauraine Jacobs, who’ll be responsible for selecting the
winning image.
Gordon Russell, Chairman of the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowers Association commented, “Not only is it a celebration of wine and food’s perfect pairing, it’s an event that celebrates the collaboration of the
wine and food industries. The imagination that goes into each match is incredible. We know diners will love the dishes
on offer.”
