Mcdonald’s, Streets Fruttare, 2degrees and VO5 Sign on For the X Factor
NZ 2015


TV3 is delighted to confirm that Broadcast Sponsor McDonald’s will be joined by a stellar line-up of programme partners including Fruttare, 2degrees and VO5 for the 2015 series of the top-rating TV3 show The X Factor NZ.

MediaWorks TV Chief Executive, Paul Maher is pleased to welcome the sponsorship partners who will help deliver the highly anticipated second series.

"The first season of The X Factor NZ exceeded all expectations in terms of ratings and audience engagement across our television, radio and interactive assets and we’re looking forward to delivering even more to our viewers with season two,” he says.

“We’re incredibly pleased to have secured such a notable line-up of commercial partners, who will be an integral part of the programme format. Broadcast Sponsor McDonald’s has a long and successful working relationship with us and we’re delighted to be continuing to work with them on this exciting television event.

McDonald’s will be joined by Fruttare on the series pre-audition tour and throughout the programme broadcast with a series of activations.

Commenting on Fruttare’s sponsorship, Anthony Toovey, Marketing Director for Streets says: "We are thrilled to be sponsoring The X Factor NZ. Fruttare is the new and exciting frozen fruit smoothie on the market, so there’s a great synergy with us being involved in the series. We’re delighted to be part of The X Factor NZ pre- auditions and we’re looking forward to seeing the incredible talent that New Zealand has to offer."

2degrees are on board as the telecommunications partner and VO5 will be styling the contestants and judges as the beauty partner for the 2015 series.

The X Factor NZ will be hosted by Dominic Bowden. Multi-platinum recording artists Melanie Blatt and Stan Walker have been announced as the first two judges for the series, with two further judges to be announced shortly.

Pre-Auditions for The X Factor NZ are taking place in 13 locations around the country starting in Auckland on Saturday, October 11th and finishing back in Auckland on November 2nd.
