Auckland Museum Research Grant Opportunity - Applications Close 6 October!
The Auckland Museum in association with the New Zealand Society of Authors is offering financial grants to provide assistance to writers wishing to undertake research for a writing project.
The three research grants being offered by The Auckland Museum and New Zealand Society of Authors will be awarded to writers wishing to utilise the excellent facilities and resources of the Auckland Museum Library for the development of a fiction or non-fiction manuscript.
The three financial grants are:
• One grant valued at $3,500 (comes with four weeks accommodation at the beautiful Michael King Writers Centre) is open to national applicants.
• One regional grant of $1,500 is open to any writer residing in the greater Auckland region.
• One regional grant of $1,500 is open to any writer residing in the greater Auckland region, who is also a member of the NZSA or The Friends of the Museum.
