A Collaboration with SBTRKT for new single “Look Away”

Kiwi digital production house Resn have teamed up with musical act SBTRKT to present “Look Away”, an online audio-visual experience. The interactive artwork celebrates the release of the single of the same name from the forthcoming SBTRKT album “Wonder Where We Land”.

Users interact with a 3D female face via their webcam. The experience the latest in WebGL technology to juxtapose shadowy black and white visuals with occasional full-color distortions, creating an unsettling atmosphere. Resn Creative Director Steve Le Marquand wanted to give users the feeling of, “a hidden world just out of sight but always very close and present.”

The experience is available now and can be embedded into other websites at the touch of a button. “Wonder Where We Land” is out September 23rd, through XL Recordings.
