Disney’s Club Penguin joins the Fun at Kelly Tarlton’s
It’s Penguins, Puffles and Prizes these school holidays as Disney’s Club Penguin, the number one virtual world for kids,
joins the fun at Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium.
On offer around the aquarium will be Disney Club Penguin themed activities including a puffle treasure hunt, a Gary’s
lab activity room that features puffle bean bags, colouring in, face painting, prize giveaways and Club Penguin music
fun.
Each child that visits Kelly Tarlton’s from Monday 22 September until Sunday 12 October will receive a virtual Lobster
Costume to enjoy online at www.clubpenguin.com, and those who successfully complete the puffle treasure hunt will
receive a Club Penguin coin card.
Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Claire Wheeler commented, “Kelly Tarlton’s is the home
of New Zealand’s only colony of Antarctic penguins and our magnificent gentoos are beginning to breed, which means cute
baby penguins in [the months ahead] and privacy is needed in the colony.
“The successful breeding program we have onsite reflects the hard work and passion of the team and is a program we are
incredibly proud of so we are delighted Disney’s Club Penguin could pop in these school holidays to put a smile on the
dial of our young visitors during this period.”
For visitors wanting to extend their SEA LIFE experience, themed sleep-overs will be available on Friday 3 and Friday 10
of October. A fantastic opportunity for up to 70 children and adults to have the entire attraction to themselves, the
sleep-over experience starts at 7.00pm and includes:
· A night-time guided tour around the aquarium
· Special stingray feed
· Behind the Scenes Tour including a fish feed
· Supper before going to bed under our magnificent sharks, stingrays and fish
· Breakfast of cereals, toast and juice will be served the following morning
