Free Theatre Christchurch presents:
David Lynch Ubu Night
Ubu Nights are a series of weekly entertainments (combining theatre, music, film and hospitality)
that engage diverse communities in interactive and sensory experiences. Free Theatre is collaborating on these Ubu Nights with Christchurch artists from different disciplines.
Join Free Theatre this Friday at One Eyed Jack’s for an immersion in the unsettling and seductive universe of filmmaker and musician David Lynch. Welcome back to The Red Room where the mundane becomes terrifying and the terrifying becomes mundane. Live music, film, light and soundscape combine to provide a feast for the senses alongside which our chefs are preparing Lynchian delights – a menu from a midnight diner.
As with every Ubu Night, Ubu and his friends will be in attendance to provide a taste of the Pataphysical. Expect the unexpected.
